We are currently seeking for experienced Aircraft Sheet Metal Workers interested on joining a Job Bank for contracted jobs in Spain.

We are looking to hear from skilled sheet metal workers who have experience in reparation and maintenance works on aircrafts (highly valuated private jets and small aircrafts). 

Work may involve any of the following: setting up and operating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal; shaping metal over anvils, blocks or forms using hammer operating soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts inspecting, assembling, and smoothing seams and joints burred surfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Determine project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences and required methods and materials, according to blueprints, drawings, written and verbal instructions.
  • Lay out sheet metal parts using blueprints, drawings, written or verbal instructions.
  • Alter and existing part using blueprints, drawings, written or verbal commands.
  • Rivet and sheet metal component removal.
  • Bend and form a radius on fabricated sheet metal parts.
  • Drill various metals. Deburr holes and cut lines.
  • Set up for countersinking and dimpling of holes.
  • Set up for and install solid rivets with a rivet gun and or squeeze tool.
  • Install blind rivets and fasteners.
  • Responsible for ensuring parts meet quality specifications and requirements.
  • Uses mechanics hand tools and measuring devices, such as a scale or protractor.
  • Daily effective communication with CSR’s, Mechanic Leads and others that support aircraft arrival, maintenance and departure to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Responsibly only for own work.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

- Previous demonstrable working experience as SMW.

- EWIS, FTS, HF.

- Fluent in English and Spanish.
