Job description

  • Responsible for the complete system with the authorities within the operator’s structure
  • Responsible to check potential security issues associated with the application installed
  • Responsible for hardware and software configuration management
  • Responsible for ensuring that only valid version of data are installed on the EFB
  • Responsible for conducting internal quality control measures to ensure that all EFB administration personnel comply with the different procedures.
  • Verify the accuracy, integrity and reliability of performance related calculations, manuals and materials provided by
  • internal & external suppliers and their quality auditing.
  • Responsible for the updates of applications according the published and approved procedures
  • Responsible of creating and updating the “EFB Policy and Procedures Manual”.
  • Responsible for the continuous development of EFB system



  • Master degree in engineering or in aeronautics or equivalent
  • Demonstrate management skills
  • Be organised and able to work autonomously
  • Have an analytic mind
  • Be stress-resistant
  • Be familiar with standard office applications
  • Master the programming languages used in performance related calculation, and EFB programming
  • Master flight operations and flight procedures
  • Master EASA Regulation for EFB, crew training, flight operations
  • Show excellent communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written)
  • Refer to the training table
  • Show user skills in specific Flight OPS applications
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of the data, source code and all related operating matters
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company
  • Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset.
