Task Description
Ensuring compliance with global customs regulations and application of customs procedures
Creation of systems to optimize the Group's customs duties
Defending the customs position externally (e.g. vis-à-vis customs authorities)
Advising other business units on all customs implications
Maintenance of a customs network
Creation of systems to optimize the Group's customs duties
Reduction of risks associated with customs matters
Requirements
Successfully completed degree in logistics management
Alternatively: Successfully completed vocational training as a wholesale and export merchant or forwarding merchant
Several years of professional experience as a commercial clerk or in the customer service department
Profound knowledge in customs clearance
Detailed knowledge of MS Office and SAP applications
Business fluent in German and proficient in English
Work permit from the EU
