Task Description

  • Implementation of design changes and/or specific upgrades

  • Process procurement and purchasing

  • Rectification of defects or damage reported to FAL

  • Ensuring the provision of spare parts and consumables

  • Receiving, inspecting and returning ("used") components removed from the aircraft

  • Identifying resource requirements in preparation for major interventions at FAL

  • Documentation of the work performed

  • Ensuring regular and complete reporting to the FAL Team Leader and FAL Quality



  • Successfully completed training as a mechanic

  • Solid knowledge of landing gear and shock absorber operation, installation and maintenance

  • Expert knowledge of EASA Part 21G regulations

  • Know-how in working on a final assembly line

  • Organisation, Methodology, Team spirit, Reliability, Self-reliance, Good relationships, Good physical condition, Flexibility

  • Willingness to work in shifts and on call

  • Driving licence and willingness to travel

  • Basic knowledge of French would be desirable
