Task Description
Management of technical development and certification projects for the products of the "Aircraft Components" business unit of the "Original Equipment Innovation" division
Execution of product qualifications including qualification tests and measurements in the laboratory as well as evaluation and documentation of the results
Preparation of product-related technical documentation (e.g. manufacturing documentation, product specification, EB, verification documentation, etc.) taking into account the construction regulations
Management of technical communications with internal and external suppliers as well as design of manufacturing processes
Technical support of the sales department in acquisition projects
Co-design of procedures and processes in the area of responsibility and monitoring of compliance
Requirements
Completed university/technical college studies preferably in aircraft design, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or mechatronics
Several years of experience in mechanical development of aerospace products
Good knowledge of development procedures and aviation legislation, business fundamentals and interrelationships, RTCA DO-160 and aviation authority requirements
Confident handling of design drawing programs (preferably Solid Works) and MS Office
Good knowledge of English (level B2)
Presence of the additional qualification Human Factors
