FUNCTION: Loadmaster
- Mathemathically plan the correct placement of load on the airplane
- Perform cargo aircraft weight&balance via computer of manual way
- Calculate and verify correct weighs, destination, origination labels
- Oversee flight plans, graphic and text weather
- Provide proper marshalling signals for aircraft and GSE operations, as directed
- Conduct proper two-way communications in English using ground to ground and air-to-ground radios and telephones, as applicable
OFFER:
- Payment scale based upon experience
- Daily basic fee is payable for every day on base/duty
- Per Diem payment of US $50 per day will be paid for days whilst operating flights and away from operational base
- Calculation of all fee payments is based on a calendar month regardless of the roster
- Work rotation 6 weeks on base and 2 weeks off base
- After 4 weeks on duty, a premium of 20% is added to the daily fee (4 weeks normal pay, 2 weeks an additional 20% premium)
- Days off base are off pay
- Travel days are included in the 2 weeks off base
- In case of periodic lack of work, the client can request the Individual to go on unpaid leave (UPL) for a period of time
- Housing is provided on base / in case it´s not base of domicile
- Return flights between country of domicile and base (as accepted by AAI)
- Minimum 2 years experience as a loadmaster on wide bodied cargo aircraft (preferably B747 Freighter)
- Qualified on Mass & Balance and load sheet for wide bodied freighters
- Current on IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (minimum category 10)
- Good communication skills with colleagues and clients
- Team player and capable to work alone
- Punctual, responsible and flexible
- Willing to work in a 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off working pattern
- Holding a European Passport
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- In good health and physical condition
