Job description

Zenon are pleased to be working with one of the world’s fastest growing Helicopter companies with their recruitment of a Procurement Manager based in the Middle East.

As a leading provider of services ranging from HEMS, Utility, Surveying, VIP and Corporate Charter operations, this position requires an individual with extensive experience in procurement management to develop the procurement strategy and policy for the organisation.

This role is accountable for analysis, monitoring and reporting on procurement expenditure, applying appropriate competitive cost and process benchmarks, financial analysis and risk management and to provide support and project management for all business critical and strategic spending.

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the company’s procurement strategy.
  • Analyse trends to utilise new solutions and initiatives.
  • To work with in-house teams to make sure that best value is obtained on all projects.
  • Monitoring current, and securing new, quality suppliers of materials and components
  • Negotiate annual contracts to obtain best price, delivery, and payment terms
  • Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers
  • Responsible for the management and creation of all the businesses contracts and terms and conditions
  • Lead tender processes and negotiations (through cross functional teams) as required to ensure cost control, value for money and risk management including development of scope, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Responsible for supplier relationship management, including continuously driving improved performance and resolving complex issues and disputes.

Experience Required:

  • Experience of managing within the Procurement and Supply Chain.
  • Experience of implementing strategies and current best practice initiatives.
  • Experience of leading tenders, evaluations, and procurement.
  • Aviation Experience would be seen as an advantage.
