Are you an experienced certification engineer looking for a career in Aviation?
Our client, a start-up electric aircraft manufacturer is looking for passionate, enthusiastic self-starters, to join their unique team of out of the box thinkers.
If you have experience working in Certification, we would like to hear from you.
Main responsibilities:
- Work with a team of fellow engineers to plan, build, and manage the certification process.
Review of current generation hardware, electrical and mechanical designs for various projects and aircraft systems.
Work with design engineers to add additional protections for their existing prototypes and new designs.
Main requirements:
- Third level Degree in an engineering discipline
Previous experience within aviation or another highly regulated industry e.g. medical, nuclear etc.
Previous experience working with the FAA, EASA or other regulatory agencies on type certification programs for aircraft, rotorcraft and/or engines.
Knowledge of aircraft regulations (14 CFR Part 21, 23, 27, 33, and/or 36 are strongly desired), regulatory guidance and policy and type certification processes
