Aerotek Aviation LLC. has immediate Avionics Technician opportunities in Philadelphia, PA for full time positions.CONTRACT TO DIRECT HIRE & DIRECT HIREHourly Rate: $28.00 - $33.00/hr based on experience.Over Time AvailablePer Diem Available for employee's who qualify.Relocation Package for Benefits Package for direct hires.Paid Vacation, Holidays & Sick Time.Avionics Technicians will be working on one of two different helicopter assembly lines.Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring and avionics equipment on new aircraft's.RESPONSIBILITIES:Read and interpret wiring diagramsCoordinate with Shift Lead and Engineering on changes to blueprints and diagramsRun and Mark wire to install complex wiring and electrical systemsPerform routine checkouts after work has been completedTrouble shoot avionics system on board aircraft and make necessary adjustments or repairsPerform lab bench checks, to include analysis, repair and calibration of avionics electrical equipmentQUALIFICATIONS:4+ yrs experience of Aircraft Electrical or Avionics Installations of rotary or fixed wing aircraft's.Strong avionics installations skills with a comprehensive understanding of electro/avionics systems as well as their integration into aircraft.Experienced splicing and crimping of aircraft wiring.Must have a good personality to fit in with the team.
