Job description
Seeking a Systems Engineer for a large Aerospace/DoD company in the Syracuse, NY area. This person will be working on a large program for the company. Candidate must be able to obtain a security clearance. Responsibilities:Will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systemsAnalyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposalEnsures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraintsPerforms functional analysis, time-line analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specificationsAble to integrate software and hardware, validate and verify software changes, and perform system updatesWill be hands-on with lab systems and tactical radar systemsA qualified candidate will have:Degree within EngineeringRequirements ExperienceExperience working with DOORS, MATLAB, or SySMLActive security clearance OR the ability to obtain a clearancePlease apply with an updated resume.
