Job Code:3394 S3, Inc. is a woman owned small business founded in 1991, headquartered in Huntsville, AL, that provides technical, programmatic, and logistics services to US Department of Defense, other US Government Agencies, and Partner Nation militaries, co-located with Government requirements. S3 has a wholly owned subsidiary, KBFS, that provides aviation pilot training, heavy lift, aircraft maintenance, and related aircraft services to Government and commercial requirements IAW multiple FAA certifications. S3 Inc. is seeking an Aviation Systems PM to support projects on Redstone Arsenal. AL. Position Description: This is a position supporting US Army Aviation programs serving as the senior contract PM and supervisor for assigned contract personnel for a US Army Aviation program located on Redstone Arsenal, AL. Position requires on site (Redstone Arsenal) meeting with senior government officials, accepting tasks and coordinating work with company HQ staff as well as other contract employees. Additional weekly duties include contract staffing and oversight functions conducted at the company HQ in Huntsville, AL. As directed by the customer, supports and facilitates senior Government leader program management and strategic decision reviews with compelling program analysis and recommendations, delivered in the form of decision support artifacts including briefings, white papers, etc. Leads and directs support efforts for the development of strategic communications and command messaging, including white papers, briefing materials, POM/budget artifacts and schedules. Provides oversight, product quality, daily task loading, direction and management of subordinate contractor personnel, as well as responsible for identifying and fulfilling contract growth opportunities. Assists corporate staff in identifying and developing new business opportunities. Experience/Skills Required : 15 years of relevant experience in Army Aviation Command or HQ support staff; or US Army aviation program, project or product manager is essential. At least 2 years' experience on strategic HQ Staff: Army HQ, ASAALT, TRADOC, Army PEO or equivalent HQ ; at least 3 years' experience as a senior Army Aviation program manager and/or 3 years' senior Army Aviation operational experience (battalion, squadron or higher) with specific preference to senior Army aviators (rated pilots) with senior command experience. At least five years' US Government experience providing operations support to or managing US Army Aviation programs with direct, first-hand responsibility for developing and/or satisfying Army Aviation functional requirements including development of doctrine, material solutions, operational employment, organizational structures, training or sustainment. At least five years' experience and proficiency using MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; must be comfortable working with large Excel spreadsheets. Education Required: Master's degree is required with 15 years' experience (may substitute Bachelor's degree plus 25 years' experience). Bachelor's in management, technical or business disciplines from an accredited college or university and an additional five (5) years of relevant systems management experience or a Bachelor's Degree with ten (10) years relevant senior management experience directly related to the SOW requirements.
