We partner in success.DESCRIPTIONWe currently have an opportunity in our West Palm Beach, FL office for a Project Engineer to join our Aviation Engineering group. The position involves planning, design and construction engineering for airport projects. Opportunity for challenging design work in: geometric layout of roadways, parking lots and airfield facilities; hydraulic design for infrastructure projects including but not limited to design of storm sewers, culverts, ditches, and erosion and sediment control; development of construction plans and specifications for landside and airside projects; preparation of construction cost estimates, writing reports and developing client presentations; construction engineering services including shop drawing review and responses to contractor questions. The candidate should be a motivated self-starter who displays a passion for solving problems, interacting in a team environment, and meeting established deadlines.PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringTransportation/Site Development Engineering backgroundEI or Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of FL4-10 years of experience in site development/aviation engineeringAutoCAD experience, preferably with Civil 3DMICHAEL BAKER INTERNATIONAL EEO STATEMENTMichael Baker International is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
