Job description

An information technology consulting and software development company in the Atlantic City, New Jersey area is actively looking to hire 2 Electrical Engineers to join their team in full-time, direct hire roles. Over the years, this organization has developed a specialization in working with Air Traffic Control systems and Air Traffic Management technologies. Some of their key customers include government agencies and well-known commercial aerospace manufacturers.

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computational Science in Engineering, or related field
  • Experience working in mathematical calculations/modeling
  • Experience with statistical data analysis
  • Programming knowledge and experience with MATLAB, C/C++ and Python
  • Experience in Unix/Linux platform

Job Description:

  • Work as a part of the civil aviation programs supporting the FAA and Joint DOD/FAA aviation projects.

  • As part of that team, the candidate will work on highly complex math algorithms and models

  • Implementation of existing prototype tools in MATLAB to more efficient version in Python and C/C++

  • Data collection, stats/modeling analysis

  • Event/fault/anomaly analysis

  • Avionics test and evaluation and validation.

  • Activities also include aircraft avionics/hardware installation and configuration

  • Ground/flight test support.
