Projects may range from Proposal Support, New Product Development, Document and Drawing creation to Sustaining and Production Support. Bachelor's degree (BS) in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 5+ years of related Aerospace experience Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical reports and drawings. Use Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to perform tolerance stack up analysis. Prepare engineering documentation (Specification Compliance Tabulation, Test Procedures, Similarity Reports, Test Results) Experience with Aerospace component hardware. Solid understanding of engineering principles, concepts, and techniques. Application of engineering design and analysis tools (e.g. computer-aided design, FEA or stress analysis) Demonstrated knowledge of product designs through Qualification testing to ensure compliance with methods and procedure. Interpret and validate test results for accuracy and precision. Ensure conformance to product qualification procedures and parameters to achieve customer and product reliability and safety standards Sound project management and organizational skills. Understanding of standard project management tools and practices. Ability to manage scope, schedule and cost objectives. Ability to communicate status, actions, recommendations, and other technical information with clarity and precision.
