Job description
Aeronautical Engineer Location: Fort Worth, TX Candidate will primarily be responsible for developing equipment Installation designs, but may also support structural design activities. Primary design activities will include detail design and release of trays, shelves and racks to support LRU installations, crew station panel designs, and power panel and matrix designs. Layouts, studies, new drawings, revised existing drawings, and ECNs (Engineering Change Notices) will use Catia V5 and require a strong understanding of GD Candidate must be able to coordinate efforts with minimal supervision with other installation organizations such as ECS and Hydraulics, Harness, Structures, and other Subsystem teams as well as Stress Analysis, Materials and Processes, Manufacturing Engineering/Tooling, Maintainability, etc. across a wide range of functional organizations. Although the primary assignment will be to support retrofit design, could also support mod line issues, production floor support, and field requests and repairs. Must be US Citizen as ACA badge access is required for the work area. Degree not required but must be experienced in aerospace design.
