Job description
We are seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Manager with a Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, or equivalent experience. In this challenging, fast-paced environment, you'll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience to ensure US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) maintenance requirements or applicable governing authority requirements are met in order to support the design and creation of the most groundbreaking aerospace and defense technologies - those that exist today and those that will shape tomorrow.

What to look forward to:

As an Aircraft Maintenance Manager, you will be using your skills and expertise to oversee the maintenance servicing, repairing, inspecting, and overhauling of our aircraft and/or aircraft systems and subsystems to ensure that our aircraft and/or systems are in an airworthy condition and are safe for flight. You'll ensure that all of our customer issues are satisfactorily resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

* Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
* A higher level degree may substitute for experience
* Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

* An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required. Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances
* Possess a full understanding of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices


* C-130J modification experience
* FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification
* FAA Inspection Authorization
* Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations
* Experience with returning airplanes to service
* Experience performing aircraft maintenance
* Experience in a supervisory role
* Previous experience/familiarity working in a military/government environment


* This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
