The F-15 & Off-Boeing Platforms (OBP) Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT) supports numerous programs spread across several different aircraft platforms, all in various phases of the acquisition lifecycle. A few significant efforts expected in 2020 and beyond include the standup and execution of the USAF F-15EX production program, execution of the A-10 ATTACK re-wing program, as well as numerous product development efforts on T-38C. The F-15 & OBP SEIT is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Systems Engineer leader to be responsible for execution, oversee daily tasks, and mentor an existing team of talented Systems Engineers.

This position is for a senior systems engineer on the F-15 & OBP SEIT that will prioritize development of the supporting team already in place while ensuring execution excellence across multiple programs. Typical responsibilities will include but not be limited to preparation and facilitation of Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events (ie program milestone reviews), Systems Engineering planning documentation development, proposal development, cost estimating, specification development, requirement verification activities, and Risk Issue Opportunity (RIO) board management.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical area
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
- 6 or more years of systems engineering experience
- 2 or years of technical team lead experience, or Technical Lead Engineer (TLE) formal training
- Over 2 years of experience working with USG customer
Desired Qualifications (Preferred Skills/Experience):
- Prior experience teaching Systems Engineering topics or mentoring Systems Engineers
- Active US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
