Aviation Quality Engineer's opportunity within this respected aircraft MRO organisation. Based out of Southend, the Quality Engineer supports the Quality & Airworthiness Manager ensuring all regulations are 100% adhered to and systems and audits are run efficiently.
The main duties of the Aerospace Quality Engineer include:
Day-to-day control and administration of the company's quality department and auditing programme.
Ensure that the quality department always complies with EASA Part 145 and EASA Part M and other company manuals.
Undergo internal and external scheduled inspections and audits.
Keeping up to date with relevant knowledge regarding EASA Part 145, Part M, Part 66 and SMS Risk based management.
Administration of the company's manuals and authorisation system.
Investigating and reporting on quality, maintenance and technical issues using MEDA.
Negotiating with manufactures and vendors on any quality matters.
Overseeing and administering any non-conformance.
Please note that you must have experience in a similar quality role within an aircraft maintenance organisation, with outstanding knowledge of EASA Part 145 and M. Familiarity with Q-Pulse and Microsoft Office software would be a distinct advantage.
