The Captain supports Food Service Management in leading the team to provide great service, great food presentation, maintaining a clean environment, and communicating effectively to key partners on the studio lot. Leadership skills are a must as you will be in a position that requires follow through and the ability to inspire team members to work at their maximum potential. This individual has a strong attention to detail and needs to be ready to think on their feet in creating fresh ideas to improve our work and never settle for mediocrity. This individual will be a brand ambassador throughout the Food Services department and will need to have a sense of Hospitality that is organic, genuine and memorable.
+3 years or more of related experience in a high volume food & beverage operation; banquet/hotel facility, restaurant, commissary or catering venue. Leadership experience within a high volume; food & beverage venue is strongly preferred. Understands and maintains Health Department Standards to ensure cleanliness and food safety procedures are front of mind. Must have knowledge of all aspects of set-up, food service, & organization. Must be able to communicate and build relationships effectively & tactfully with guests, fellow employees, and other levels of personnel. Must have ability to work well under time constraints. Must be proficient in scheduling, data entry, analysis, and formatting. Must be able to handle multiple tasks. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
