Project Manager - Environmental Substance Manager

The main expertise needs to be in project management, but with the ability to understand Engineering subjects to be able to follow technical discussions. The candidate needs to be able to work fast and accurately.

Ideally the candidate will have a University degree, and a Project Management qualification (eg PMI, PRINCE 2, APM), and 5 years work experience in a relevant field.

Working with multi-functional teams would be stand out.

The project is very complex, with team members located throughout Europe, in Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Programmes, and other business functions. The role is to support Work Package leaders to ensure that the project management activities are performed well (scheduling, action management, deliverable management, finance tracking, communication, reporting, etc).

Main activities

Ensures the daily application of PM processes and procedures such as defining, deploying and managing the;

Project plan;

Schedule plan;

Risk Register;

Work breakdown structures;

Communication plan;

Governance Documentation (e.g. statement of work (SoW) standards and policies);

Monitors the status on

Planning; activities, milestones, critical path and remain-to-do

Risk Management; classify levels of risk, potential impact and mitigation actions

Financial status; Earned Value Management definition, deployment and maintenance

Change Management; change control process, adherence and deviation management
