Job description
My client is currently looking for a Military Airworthiness & Certification Consultant to join their already successful Program & Management Consultancy.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience of working in a consultancy environment or have a proven track record of developing and winning new business. Our client is a consultancy and therefore you will be involved with the bid process, putting together tenders and winning new projects. You will be well connected in an area or discipline and have a good understanding of the sales process whilst maintaining your technical function.

You will support various sectors across the company's client base, which currently comprises of, Energy, Security, Government, Defence and Nuclear sectors and will be based in their Bristol office.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced person to provide Military Airworthiness & Certification services to a wide range of sectors

You will be a highly qualified candidate with a strong track record in Military Airworthiness & Certification and have good commercial acumen

We need the ideal candidate to have some of the following qualifications and experience:

Experience of Systems Engineering

Experience in (MOD/DE&S/Industry) of development of airworthiness

Strong delivery level of understanding of Airworthiness and Air Safety

Experienced in fixed wing, air wing and UAS/RPAS

Strong understanding of (DEF Stan 970, CS23-29, CS-E, FAR 23-29, MIL-HDBK 516B & C and STANAG 4671)

Additional requirements which the Engineer must have is either a degree in Engineering which covers the air sector or be BEng/IEng accredited. They must have Project and Technical Management experience, Airworthiness Management experience and knowledge of Military Air Safety regulations and standards. The Engineer must also have great leadership, problem solving team management skills.

Our client is offering a salary between ?35,000 - ?65,000 depending skills and experience + 8 - 10% bonus + personal development

The candidate will need to hold a British passport in order to gain full security clearance on their projects.
