Job description
My client is currently looking for a Civil Aerospace Safety & Compliance Consultant to join their already successful Program & Management Consultancy.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience of working in a consultancy environment or have a proven track record of developing and winning new business. Our client is a consultancy and therefore you will be involved with the bid process, putting together tenders and winning new projects. You will be well connected in an area or discipline and have a good understanding of the sales process whilst maintaining your technical function.

You will support various sectors across the company's client base, which currently comprises of, Energy, Security, Government, Defence and Nuclear sectors and will be based in their Bristol office.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced person to provide Civil Aerospace Safety & Compliance services to a wide range of sectors

You will be a highly qualified candidate with a strong track record in Civil Aerospace Safety & Compliance and have good commercial acumen

We need the ideal candidate to have some of the following qualifications and experience:

* Experience of Systems Engineering

* Develop solution strategies which deliver multi-disciplined technical support at platform and system level

* Experience of demonstrating product and operational safety

* Experience in developing Safety Management Systems and Safety Cultures

* Knowledge of analysis techniques and application of various aerospace systems

* Have an understanding of Civil Airworthiness Regulations (EASA Part 21, Part 145, Part M and Part 66)

* Have a greater understanding design certification standard (ICAO, CS23-29, CS-E, FAR 23-29)

Advantageous if you have the following:

* A degree in the Air Sector

* To be CEng/IEng accredited

* Recruiting for somebody with a Systems Engineering mind set and lead consultancy assignments

* Experience in Design Organisations

* Experience in Airlines or State/Parapublic operators

* Have Airworthiness, Aircraft and System certification

* Experience in Aircraft safety development and maintenance

* Experience in Software and Complex Electronic Hardware Safety Assurance

* An understanding of aircraft design

* Must be able to have excellent interpersonal and leadership, good problem solving, teamwork and technical leaderships skills

Our client is offering a salary between ?35,000 - ?65,000 depending skills and experience + 8 - 10% bonus + personal development

The candidate will need to hold a British passport in order to gain full security clearance on their projects.
