About the role
Air Vanuatu are looking for experienced B1 or B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with a part 66 or equivalent licence of the listed aircraft. These positions are permanent within their expanding MRO team. The successful candidates will become vital members of their engineering team, supporting the maintenance of a growing fleet of aircraft, including:
• Boeing NG737-NG series
• Airbus A220 series
• ATR72-600 series
• Twin Otter DHC6-300
Successful candidates will be responsible for analysing and interpreting technical information relating to aircraft, and for reading and interpreting engineering diagrams and manuals. They will also be expected to apply well-honed troubleshooting skills to minimize aircraft downtime and maximize reliability. Furthermore, they will provide guidance, training and leadership for licensed and non-licensed aircraft maintenance engineers.
The successful candidate will hold a current part 66 or equivalent licence on a minimum of two (2) of the above listed aircraft and have held the above type ratings, for more than Three (3) years.
The successful candidates must be able to provide a Police Clearance and Medical Report declaring fit for all duties.

Skills and experience
Essential Selection Criteria
► Have at least five years' experience in aircraft line maintenance and servicing inspection activities
► Hold a current part 66 or equivalent licence on a minimum of two (2) of the above listed aircraft
► Have held the above Type ratings, for more than Three (3) years
► Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
► Have supervisory experience
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Have proven experience in working in a challenging and demanding work environment, ideally in the Pacific Islands or developing nations
► Have a Lead Auditors accreditation
► Be an accredited trainer
