Job description

The IT Senior System Analyst (PSS) is responsible for monitoring, managing and supporting the application systems components of the end-to-end PSS system. Their role is to provide technical and functional system support to various departments and ensure system functionality meets business needs. As part of the PSS project, the IT Senior System Analyst (PSS) will lead the team of System Analysts who provide level 2 and 3 support for all modules of the PSS system and its Users when the system is moved to its Dubai-based hosting infrastructure

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Activities

1. Provide Business and System Support for users on Radixx, and ensure timely dissipation of information to help users

2. Coordinate with other departments like Customer Support, Reservations Support and Agency Support to identify and troubleshoot issues reported by staff, Customers, Agents or other system stakeholders

3. Work with PSS project Bas to collect requirements from stakeholders for system enhancements/new functionality, translate them into business requirements document and raise change requests with vendors. Provide support during implementation of change requests

4. Assist system monitoring staff with alert monitoring and alert handling. Act on system generated alerts and carry out any system triage

5. Make system configuration changes to support the business

6. Assist PSS project resources by acting as SME for PSS modules and functionality

7. Provides leadership and mentoring to the team of system Analysts working on the PSS system

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (IT qualification)

Experience

• 8+ years airline industry/IT experience

• 8+ system analysis of airline PSS system

Additional Requirements

• Radixx experience would be beneficial
