Job description

Main duties:

  • Lead, instruct and motivate the dedicated staff in order to achieve discipline, quality, efficiency, on time delivery of the A/C and promote general cost consciousness within the department
  • Be Deputy Postholder Part 145
  • Be responsible for the performance of Maintenance services and customer aircraft
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with the standards specified in EASA Part 145, MOE and any other National Authority Regulation
  • Check, establish, implement and update all relevant MOE Job Descriptions and Maintenance Procedures for the department
  • Provide and maintain the necessary technical, organizational and personnel resources and oversees staff absence / overtime to ensure no impact on daily operation
  • Review, monitor and evaluate the performance of all staff assigned holding leading positions
  • Take part in the budget and capacity planning process in order to secure the required resources within the department and to monitor cost development
  • Provide support to Head of Maintenance Control Center to reach the defined dispatch reliability target


Required profile:

Minimum required criteria:

  • Have a master’s degree (BAC & 5) in aeronautics and/or proven experience of the technical environment in the aviation industry
  • Have strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Show a good sense of priorities
  • Demonstrate good presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Be worthy of commanding respect among peers and management officials
  • Show an authoritative approach
  • Be opened for travelling and participating in industry events
  • Be familiar with standard office applications
  • Show excellent communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written)

Desired or to be acquired criteria:

  • Must provide an effort in the undeveloped language
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company
  • Have good negotiation skills
  • Show strong sense for entrepreneurial and economical thinking
  • Show the ability for clear expression in writing
  • Be capable of working independently as well as in a team
  • Show user skills in the tools used in Technics
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of the data

The ideal candidate:

  • Be a current or former EASA Part 66 B1/B2 or C (or equivalent) license holder
  • Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as an asset
