If you are a fan of Disney movies and it‘s magic world, then you will love the style of this aircraft. „Disney Toy Story“ aircraft launched in Shanghai, on April 28th as a joint venture between China Eastern Airlines and the Shanghai Disney Resort. This new airplane features a flying Buzz Lightyear painted on one side of the exterior, and Woody on another.

The flight took place at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, where guests were invited to meet with mascots of the famous Toy Story characters. Later in the ceremony, the heads of China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Disney resort pressed their hands on the “magic” screen. After the plane was presented, it took off to Beijing.

All the inside and outside design of the aircraft is based on the Disney franchise. According to Forbes, within the aircraft itself, the top of the cabin features the artwork of Woody and Lotso, among others. The luggage compartments above the seats are sky blue. Cartoon clouds and a variety of other characters drawn on. Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head are, of course, on display. The seats and trays again feature colorful depictions of the characters, and the headphones and other accessories are all themed to further enhance the experience.

In 2016, China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Disney Resort joined a corporate partnership and released two other Disney themed aircraft ever since. China Eastern is one of the three major Aviation groups in China and belongs to TOP 10 of most valuable airline brands in the world. However, the company has grown popular by executing unique, original and exciting methods and designs to entertain their flyers. The “Toy Story” is a perfect example of it. Moreover, it might connect more people to the Disney Resort in Shanghai.

The “Toy Story” aircraft follows the launch of the hugely popular Hello Kitty aircraft from EVA airlines. Also, over in the US, American Airlines recently unveiled an aircraft showcasing Marvel superheroes, including Iron Man and Black Panther.
