A pilot has captured incredible footage of contrails billowing from the engines of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner at an altitude of 33,000ft. Lou Boyer was piloting a Boeing 747 flight from Tokyo to Alaska when he saw the contrails – or ‘chemtrails’ depending on your appetite for conspiracy theories – over eastern Russia.
Video captured and posted on Newsflare shows a Boeing 787 Dreamliner passing underneath another plane 33,000-feet up over the east coast of Russia and leaving a massive vapor trail in its wake. Vapor trails, also called, 'contrails' are formed from aircraft engine exhaust several miles above the earth's surface, when the hot exhaust meets the cold air temperatures, and condensed cold vapor forms behind the plane.
There are a growing number of individuals who believe that these wisps of vapor aren’t innocent at all, and those who subscribe to this line of thinking call them “chemtrails.” Some believe that this phenomena is part of a secret global plot to change Earth’s weatherin the hope that it will reverse the effects of climate change.
Others hold that these cloudlike formations are made up of chemicals or biological agents used to control the population, control the mind or to manipulate the weather in a way that impacts certain areas, such as withholding rain from another country.
This theory gained popularity as more people started to notice the visible change from the white plume or trail that was left in the wake of a plane years ago to the thick trails seen today.
This theory is rejected by the scientific community, which states that they are just normal contrails, and there is no credible scientific evidence to suggest otherwise. In 2013 Nelson Mail readers contacted the newspaper to report unusual, so-called 'chemtrails' in the sky which turned out to be jet streams from flights.
