- The Paris Air Show
It’s the world’s calendar-oldest air show established in 1909. It is currently held every odd year at Le Bourget Airport in north Paris, France.

- The Farnborough International Airshow
It is a week-long event that combines a major trade exhibition for the aerospace and defence industries with a public airshow. The event is held in mid-July in even-numbered years at Farnborough Airport in Hampshire, England. The first five days (Monday to Friday) are dedicated exclusively to trade, with the final two days open to the public. The airshow is an important event in the international aerospace and defence industry calendar, providing an opportunity to demonstrate civilian and military aircraft to potential customers and investors. The show is also used for the announcement of new developments and orders, and to attract media coverage.

- The Royal International Air Tattoo

- The Bournemouth Air Festival
It is an annual air show held along the coast at Bournemouth, in Dorset, England. It has featured aircraft from the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy, as well as civil aviation displays.

- The Airbourne: Eastbourne International Airshow
It is a 4-day international air show run every August in Eastbourne, East Sussex, England. Based around a long relationship with the Red Arrows display team, the event features Battle of Britain memorial flights and aircraft from the RAF, USAF and many others.

- The Dubai Airshow
It is a biennial show held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is organised by F&E Aerospace since the year 1989. The Dubai Airshow holds the record for the largest ever order book taken at an Airshow.

- The Sun ‘n Fun Airshow
The annual week-long fly-in and airshow at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport in Lakeland, Florida.

- The Reno Air Races
It is also known as the National Championship Air Races, take place annually in September at the Reno Stead Airport a few miles north of Reno, Nevada. It includes several days of qualifying followed by four and a half days of multi-aircraft heat racing culminating in the Unlimited Class Gold Race on Sunday afternoon. The event also features civil airshow acts and military flight demonstrations between races, plus vendor areas and a large civil and military static aircraft display.

- The Australian International Airshow
It is also called the Avalon Airshow, is a large air show held biennially at Avalon Airport, between Melbourne and Geelong, Victoria. It regularly features planes from the Royal Australian Air Force, United States Navy and the United States Air Force. It has been said by air show organisers to be the largest air show in the southern hemisphere.

- The Warbirds over Wanaka
It is a biennial air show in Wanaka, held on the Easter weekend of even-numbered years since 1986. A large contingent of historic and contemporary aircraft of note from all over New Zealand and the world converge on Wanaka each second Easter for the air show. Numerous aviation personalities from all over the world attend Warbirds over Wanaka.
