Ryan air creating 1000 aviation jobs
Two factors are leading to Ryan Air hiring : New bases in Billund, in Denmark, Wroclaw, in Poland, Palma, in Spain, Paphos, in Cyprus, and Manchester will be opened and The size of its fleet will also increase from 270 to 305 aircrafts.

As a result, Ryan air will be creating 1000 jobs, among which pilot positions. Its workforce amounts currently to 8000, this means an almost 10% rise.

Ryan Air is a highly profitable company (544 million euro or £467.5 million in profit from March to September), which means a 20% rise.
A 13% increase in average fares helped to compensate a 37% rise in fuel costs.

Ryan air expects traffic to not be hindered by the rising fuel prices and to go on growing. And it plans in the long term to become one of the biggest airlines in the world if everything works according to projections.
The company thinks that the high fuel prices could actually work in its favor because it will be a bigger hindrance for its competitors.

Even though the plan hasn't been completely finalized, The UK (among which Manchester) are supposed to house some of those new jobs.
